Trafo Power originated from Mechanica Elec, a unit for epoxy casting and pressed steel radiators set up by founder Shri Sanjay Kumar Jain in 1985. Trafo Power & Electricals Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1986 to serve the needs of power-sector utilities.

Our customers include utilities, distribution companies, EPC contractors and project developers, in India and abroad.

Established: 1986; Roots in Mechanica Elec (1985)
Type-tested designs: up to 10 MVA; Temperature-rise, impulse and short-circuit tests at CPRI (Bhopal) or ERDA (Vadodara)
Shop-floor area: 9,411 sqft.; Total shop floor at Sikandra, Agra
Radiator capacity: 120 T / month; Pressed-steel radiator design capacity (Mechanica Elec)

Purpose

Whatever the climate and whichever standards apply, we either have a design that has already proved suitable — or the capability to produce one in the shortest practicable time.

To design and manufacture energy-efficient transformers through disciplined engineering, cost-effective manufacturing, and strict quality control and testing.

Vision

To grow our presence in India and abroad as a manufacturer of power and distribution transformers whose products and service meet every specification we accept.

Exhibitor at Hannover Messe, Germany.
Today
Power, distribution, solar inverter duty and data center transformers, and tanks, radiators and fin walls under the Mechanica Elec trademark. Type-tested up to 20 MVA, 33/11 kV; capability up to 50 MVA, 132 kV.
