Overview
Inverter duty transformers (IDT) for photovoltaic plants that step up inverter output to grid-level voltage for efficient power evacuation.
Solar transformers are specially designed for photovoltaic power plants to step up inverter output voltage to grid level. They are engineered to handle high harmonic distortion from inverters, frequent load fluctuations, continuous outdoor exposure and elevated ambient temperatures.
Applications
- Utility-scale solar power plants
- Rooftop solar installations
- Solar parks & IPP projects
- Hybrid renewable plants
- EPC turnkey solar projects
Design & engineering features
- Designed for inverter harmonic content
- Suited to frequent load fluctuation (daily solar cycling)
- Built for continuous outdoor exposure
- Rated for elevated ambient temperatures
- Three-phase; customisable ratings
