Overview
Each special-purpose unit is designed as a new product — from core and coils to tank, supports, cooling and protection — to the customer's specification.
Trafo Power designs and manufactures special-purpose transformers to client specification. Mechanical design uses 3D software for dimensional optimisation and mechanical-stress evaluation, accounting for special external conditions such as seismic zone or low-noise requirements. Each transformer ships with fabrication drawings, HV/LV connection drawings, auxiliary-circuit wiring diagrams, cooling-system drawings and a user manual.
