Service & AMC
Keep transformers healthy for decades.
Annual maintenance contracts and on-call service for power and distribution transformers — from inspection to emergency repair.

Inspections
Visual checks for leaks and rust; oil moisture, dielectric strength and dissolved-gas analysis; winding and insulation testing.
Preventive maintenance
Cleaning bushings, insulation and fins; tightening connections; replacing gaskets, sealants and consumables.
Oil care
Filtration to remove moisture and impurities, or replacement of degraded oil.
Load management
Balancing and optimising load to prevent overheating and overloading.
Protective maintenance
Alarm checks and calibration of relays, circuit breakers and protective devices.
Documentation & emergency support
Inspection reports, upgrade recommendations, and prompt repair or replacement of tap changers, bushings and fuses.
AMC scope
What each visit covers
Quarterly visit
- Inspection of oil level and oil leakages
- Breather condition
- Inspection of HV & LV insulators for cracks and dirt
- Metal parts checking
- Inspection of OTI, WTI, PRV, Buchholz relay, OSR and explosion vent
- Radiator ventilation for proper cooling
- OLTC functions (if available)
- Insulation resistance check
- Inspection & testing of tripping and earthing systems
- BDV of oil
- Reporting of any abnormality during operation
Yearly visit
- All quarterly-visit services
- Main cover / inspection window removal and sludge removal by oil jet
- Inspection of tap changer, conservator and oil-level indicator
- Oil filtration to improve BDV, IR values and acidity
- Replacement of HV & LV rubber/cork gaskets and oil seals
- Tightening or refitting of HV/LV terminals and cables
- Magnetic balance, ratio test on all taps, winding resistance and polarisation index (if required)
- Outer surface cleaning and de-rusting
We are developing IoT-enabled condition monitoring to support preventive maintenance.
Electrical power distribution services
Transformers for every distribution need
Trafo Power supports utilities and distribution companies with highly efficient transformers and related components for 11 kV, 22 kV and 33 kV systems — engineered with robust insulation systems, low-loss core designs and precision windings.
Single-phase auxiliary transformers
For railways and auxiliary power requirements — 11 kV input, 230 V / 433 V output, 5–100 kVA.
Three-phase transformers
For commercial and industrial setups, 25–3,150 kVA, up to 33 kV.
Data center transformers
Low-loss units for continuous IT, UPS and cooling loads, up to 3,150 kVA and 33 kV.
Pad-mount transformers
For urban and utility distribution networks — tamper-proof, outdoor type, sealed tanks with dead-front construction.
Package substation transformers with RMU & LVDB
Integrated system designed for quick installation and reliable fault management.
Power transformers
High-capacity power transfer with voltage regulation, 3.15 MVA to 50 MVA, up to 132 kV.
Dual-ratio transformers
Operate at two different voltage ratios, allowing flexibility in distribution.
Auto transformers
Common-winding design reduces material use and losses where a small voltage variation is required.
Rectifier transformers
For handling high current and harmonic disturbances.
Solar inverter duty transformers
Step solar inverter voltage up to grid voltage — 100 kVA to 25 MVA, up to 66 kV.
Construction
- Copper and aluminium winding conductors — copper for superior conductivity, aluminium where economy matters
- CRGO steel cores that reduce no-load losses
- ONAN and ONAF cooling for temperature control in operation
- Oil and dry-type configurations
- High dielectric strength insulation systems
- Off-load / on-load tap changer options to adjust output voltage to supply conditions
