Overview
Pressed-steel radiator panels in 300 mm and 520 mm widths with centre distances up to 3,500 mm, for power and distribution transformers.
Mechanica Elec radiators use a circular embossing pattern that distributes oil across the full element width for even heat dissipation. The radiators are type tested at ERDA, and the company states approval by transformer manufacturers and transmission utilities including BHEL and PGCIL for radiators on transformers up to 220 kV class.
Applications
- Power transformers
- Distribution transformers
Design & engineering features
- Circular embossing for even oil distribution
- 7 × 4 = 28 flute design in 520 mm width
- Flange alignment and centre-to-centre tolerance per IEEMA
- Spatter-free track welding; smooth weld finish
- Grit blasting before painting
- Nitrogen-filled, wooden-crate packing
